CHRIS MASTRICCI – DIRECTOR & CO-FOUNDER

A “runaway litter picker that refused to put usable humanitarian aid into a skip”. . Passionate about increasing audience engagement with waste management in campsites and arenas during events, aiming to counter the unhelpful misconception that ‘it all goes to charity’. Has been awarded Fellowships with the Churchill Foundation, The School for Social Entrepreneurs and The Royal Society of Arts for his work.

KATIE PEPPER – CO-FOUNDER AND TRUSTEE

With an unwavering passion for the environment and a wealth of knowledge on waste audits, ESG and circular economics she is a key part of FWRD’s past and future. Caring and crafty, Katie is always on the look out for new ways to use ‘waste’ materials so look out for future craft workshops!

KATIE RICHARDS- TRUSTEE

Years of experience in frontline international refugee aid and domestic abuse support in the UK make her the perfect person to head up our community network. With her compassionate drive to help those in need, we are able to link unwanted items with organisations helping those who are without.

SAM BREAREY- TRUSTEE

A committed pragmatist that transforms creative ideals into impactful realities.
His experience in corporate change management will be instrumental in helping us realise industry-wide sustainability improvements while his passion for inclusivity will ensure those changes are accessible.

HARRISON HARDY – TRUSTEE

Uniquely placed with an in-depth knowledge of festival culture and academic research. His involvement will be vital to turning our trial findings into usable data to drive industry change.
